I designed this Dual View Coin Carousel a few months ago but never made a full length YouTube Tutorial on it. Like my other projects, all the components are carved on a CNC Machine. Full CNC Plans can be found here.
This one is being donated to a local Police Golf Tournament. The piece of Pine its hanging on it just for display at the raffle tent.
It works by turning a lever that's connected to a small gear where the challenge coin sits. Turn the gear, turn the coin.
The coin is held in place using a small piece of rubber-trim that you can find linked in the build plans or buy clicking here. This is the best solution for holding coins that I've found, but I'm always open to new suggestions!
The front logo is customizable with your CNC or even a laser if you have one. In terms of CNC projects, the toolpaths for this one are extremely simple. Mostly just pockets and contours.
I use Carbide Create for my CAD program, but any program that can import SVG files will work with the file packs I sell. I'm totally self taught, so I try to keep things as simple as possible.
