LED Epoxy Project

LED Epoxy Project

Over the past few years I've been making custom LED Semester at Sea Voyage Maps thanks to these string Lights I found on Amazon. They're installed within a pocketed out area on the back of 3/4" thick Maple board that I bought from my local Lowe's. I'm not using fancy materials here, but I am using (totally affordable) fancy equipment.

Because of strategic carves at various depths using my CNC Machine and multiple stages of Epoxy, I'm able to project only the areas I want to. In this case, the ships voyage path and port cities. Pretty sweet result.

To see the full process and learn how to build projects like this yourself, follow along with Aqua Vitae Woodworks on Youtube. This is just my hobby, so if I post a full length video once a month, I'm lucky! The good new is that I also create and sell the most detailed CNC Project Manuals money can buy. At least according to my friends. Check them out in the mean time!

Happy Building!
